I like Radio Bakery but find it to be inconsistent at times. Their chocolate chip cookies are some of my favorites, but sometimes they are flatter than other times. Their triple chocolate croissant is fantastic. However, their seasonal tarts sometimes lack seasoning and taste a bit one dimensional as a result. I still go back for the cookies and croissant.

I'm giving 4 stars, but it's really more like 4.5! Here's why: - the seasonal danishes and flavored laminated pastries are amazing!!! Loved the peach one I had and the pistachio one too - scallion croissant was delish but had a better one in Cincinnati - the regular croissant + pain au chocolat are a little bland for my taste. I think you gotta have a spectacular regular croissant at least for me to give full 5 stars - haven't tried the focaccias/sandwiches/etc yet! Will have to return and update review later.

The thirty plus minute wait is well worth the wait. The aromas of freshly baked pastries are intoxicating. The staff is very friendly, and patrons are happy to order the delicious food. We had the burrata and ham focaccia sandwich, twice baked pistachio croissant, and chocolate croissant. The pistachio croissant was amazing. Definitely come here.

Radio bakery...the hype is worth it!! I had to go two times just to make sure, but had I chose right the first time I would've known right away. With that being said, you can't really go wrong with anything from here because they just make amazing quality baked goods. For my first visit I tried the everything spice focaccia with scallion cream cheese and a stone fruit croissant. The focaccia was good, but a little more oily than normal. The custard of the stone fruit was pretty great as well. I could definitely acknowledge that they were both good but they just didn't hit the way I wanted them to. Not like the bite of the twice-baked pistachio I tried. For my second visit I of course got a twice-baked pistachio croissant and one triple chocolate. I left NY the same day and decided I'd just take them home with me. The next day I popped them in the oven for maybe 5 minutes and after one bite thought, "yep!!!!!! This is it!!!" Despite being 24hrs "old" they tasted just like I bought them from the bakery that morning. I wished I would have bought more. This was the satisfaction I was looking for. If you're someone who gets stressed out by making decisions on the spot, definitely browse the menu before going in person. They have several things that are on a first come first serve basis so this will also help you time your visit. No matter the time or day you can expect a line but regardless of the wait it will be worth it! I can't wait to come back.
